We’re a team of dedicated professionals with backgrounds in education, child development, mental health, science, data analysis, nonprofit leadership, and program coordination.
We’ve combined our expertise with our lived experiences as mothers to create evidence-based,
community-driven programs that support parents in meaningful ways.
We believe that strong moms build strong families, and strong families create strong communities. That’s why our team works tirelessly to design and facilitate programs like After Baby Club, Volunteer Circle, and Mom Internships, all with the goal of making parenthood less overwhelming and more supported.
In addition to our in-person and virtual programs, we also provide Perinatal Education Resources through our Blog, offering expert-backed guidance on maternal mental health, child development, postpartum recovery, and navigating the many challenges of early parenthood. Whether you're looking for emotional support, practical parenting tips, or ways to connect with other parents, our blog serves as an invaluable tool to help parents feel informed and empowered.

Sara, co-Founder of RWC, is a Certified Birth, Bereavement, & Postpartum Doula and a Certified Lactation Counselor with a professional background in biological sciences and education. She lives with her four children, her husband, and a menagerie of dogs and cats on a small farm in southeastern York County, Pennsylvania. In addition to her work with Rooted Willow Community, Sara supports individual parents and families through her private practice, Mandala Motherhood.
Stefanie Leone

Stefanie is a mom to two children and resides in Jarrettsville, MD. She has been regularly attending After Baby Club meetings since her oldest child was three weeks old and has been an integral part of growing Rooted Willow Community, including being a Founding Board Member. In addition to her motherhood experience, Stefanie has a bachelor’s degree in molecular and cellular biology.

Jennifer is a Certified Birth & Postpartum Doula and Educator with a professional background of over 10 years in elementary education. She holds a Masters of Science in Educational Leadership and a Bachelors of Science in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. She is a mom of 3 and resides in Edgewood, Maryland. In addition to her work with Rooted Willow, Jennifer runs her own Doula & Nanny-matchmaking services through her private practice, Divine Timing Doula Services.
Erica Waskey, M.Ed., LGPC

Erica, co-Founder of RWC, is a licensed graduate Therapist and fierce advocate for mental health awareness, specifically focusing on parents and families. She has experience in school counseling, program development and management, education and training, and marketing. Erica holds a master’s degree in school counseling and a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology. She currently resides in Bel Air, Maryland with her husband, two children, and rescue dogs.
Kimberly Lee
Affiliate Director
Kimberly is a mom to two boys and resides in Cecil County, MD. She has been regularly attending After Baby Club meetings since her first baby was five months old and has been an integral part of growing Rooted Willow Community, including being a Founding Board Member and notably, creating and managing our Perinatal Education Resources via our Blog. Outside of motherhood, Kimberly has extensive experience in retail management and content creation.
